The fact that mail-in voting encourages fraud is acknowledged by all fair analysts of the political scene. Though both parties engage in the practice, the Democrats are pushing mail-in voting nationwide. They have achieved their goal of making it ubiquitous in California and seek to extend it to the rest of America. They promote mail-in voting because they know maneuvers like ballot harvesting, inherent in mail-in, can compensate for actual loss at the ballot box.

Breitbart News reports on the latest example of mail-in fraud: “Thomas Cooper, 47, of Dry Fork, stands charged with attempting to defraud the residents of West Virginia of a fair election. An affidavit accompanying the criminal complaint states Cooper fraudulently altered eight absentee ballot requests in Pendleton County, of which the complaint states he fraudulently changed the party affiliation on five ballots from one party to another.”

Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said, “Manipulating one’s absentee ballot or application is not a laughing matter – it’s a federal offense.”

“We must protect the integrity of the ballot box, and this demonstrates the aggressive action we will take to do so. It is more important now than ever for voters to watch for unexplained or suspicious marks and/or any other irregularity with their ballot. If something looks suspicious, let us know right away,” said Morrisey. It recalls the Stalin quip, “It doesn’t matter who votes. It matters who counts the votes.”

The problem, says Breitbart, is how the ballots are collected and delivered: “The affidavit states Cooper accessed the ballot requests through his employment as a rural mail carrier. He was responsible for mail delivery in the three towns from which the tampered requests were mailed – Onego, Riverton and Franklin. According to the affidavit, Cooper admitted to altering some of the requests. Local news station WTRF reported that the attempted fraud had been caught before it affected the election itself. The announcement came at roughly the same time that Twitter assigned a fact check warning to President Donald Trump for his claims that voting by mail was uniquely susceptible to fraud.”

Democrats, as has been said about the former Soviets, “Don’t take a crap without a plan.” Thus their internal polling must show that in some key battleground states they are losing, or are on the edge of losing, to President Trump. Always ready to implement any option regardless of its moral or ethical implications, Democrats are no doubt legally and operationally ready to use mail carriers, who belong to a Democrat-run federal union, and other party operatives to suppress ballots, steal ballots, and otherwise cheat to change the course and results of elections.

As such, general Election Day 2020 is liable to be a wild melee of charges and countercharges, as both parties trot out lawyers and operatives to affect races all over the nation. The GOP will focus on general turnout in targeted areas and bringing out the president’s base in key states. Though they are not above hijinks of their own, Republican strategy and tactics have always stressed tough yet legitimate efforts in Get-Out-the-Vote operations.

Democrats, who possess the shark ethos to a much greater degree than most Republicans, will use any trick in the book to win in November. As Donald Trump has proven a deadly opponent of their agenda, they know they must stop him at all costs or risk seeing their multigenerational strategy to change the fundamental ethos of America defeated and lying in ruin.
