If you want to see an example of perfect political ad production take a gander at this, as a clearly addled Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) goes on a kitchen tour featuring her expensive refrigerator chock full of ice cream and her chocolate collection.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) and Trump campaign media staff earned their money this week with this offering.
The Democrats have become so out of touch with the national situation around them that the sight of their zoned out House Speaker gibbering her way through a Willy Wonka event seems to them like a normal day at the office.
When the smart Democrat pros who remain in the party see this they will bring it up, but to no avail. Pelosi has a financial stranglehold on the entire Democrat machine and that includes funding for campaigns and campaign personnel. In this election year every Democrat pro wants a piece of that pie. So they will keep their mouths closed in public while they complain in private.
The GOP and the Trump campaign have turned the tables on Pelosi in campaign strategy. The Democrats have been trying for over three years to make the president the only political issue. They won back the House on that in 2018 and it gave them false hope. That’s because a presidential race is different than 435 separate House races. However, the Democrats are trying to employ that same strategy against the president now, even though it didn’t work for them and Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential contest.
The GOP has turned the tables by making Pelosi, not the president, the object of derision and unpopularity by using ads like the one above. She will be an albatross around the neck of Joe Biden in the fall as he sadly tries to outcampaign President Trump.
This little show of Pelosi’s is just the beginning. She is so blatantly toasted, so obviously faced, so over the top blotto in the video, and for all to see in the ad, that she had no problem having it filmed. Thus Pelosi will likely do it again, because no Democrat can tell her not to, much to her party’s chagrin and the uproarious entertainment of the president and the American people.
