Hollywood star Alec Baldwin took his Trump Derangement Syndrome to a whole new level today when he claimed that America has been infected with a virus since Donald Trump took office, a heartless comment given the fact that the U.S. is currently battling the coronavirus pandemic that has already killed more than 3,000 people in the nation.
“The virus in the US began in January of 2017. The vaccine arrives in November,” Baldwin tweeted on Tuesday morning.

This isn’t the first time that Baldwin has compared Trump to COVID-19. Back in February, when coronavirus was already wreaking havoc on the rest of the world, he tweeted, “The pandemic that threatens the world is Trump.”

Baldwin has long been one of the most anti-Trump people in Hollywood, which is ironic given the fact that the president almost single-handedly revitalized Baldwin’s career. He was effectively a has-been before he started portraying Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” so if anyone should be rooting for him to remain in office, it’s Baldwin.
Then again, Baldwin has been a member of the Hollywood liberal elite for decades, and he has lost all touch with what real Americans need in a president. He has also likely gone into full panic mode over reports that Trump’s approval ratings have actually shot up to 49 percent since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Gallop polling shows that 60 percent of Independents support the way Trump has handled the coronavirus crisis, and a Washington Post/ABC News poll states that most Americans think Trump is handling the pandemic better than Democratic presidential front-runner Joe Biden would have.
All of these numbers suggest that Trump will have no trouble getting reelected in November once this crisis is over. Because of this, you can expect increasingly deranged attacks on Trump from liberals like Baldwin in the months to come.
