Ever since Donald Trump became president, liberals have been pressuring athletes to protest against him by refusing to visit his White House after winning major sporting events like the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, the left have succeeded quite a lot in this endeavor, as many athletes have defiantly refused to accept invitations to visit Trump’s White House.

Thankfully, the coach of the new Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, will not be continuing this tradition of disrespecting President Trump.

Andy Reid, the head coach of the Chiefs, said in his post game press conference that he would definitely accept an invitation to the White House.

“I mean, I’ll be there,” Reid said, according to TMZ. “If they’re inviting us, I’ll be there. It’s quite an honor.”

“Oh man, I hadn’t even thought about that,” Reid continued. “I mean, I’ll be there. So, if they’re inviting us, I’ll be there. It’s quite an honor I think.”

While Reid obviously would like to attend the White House gathering with his entire team, it remains to be seen how many of them will actually show up. Turning down these White House invitations has unfortunately become “cool” and “hip” in leftist circles, so it should be expected that some individual players will turn down the invitation.

Before Trump took office, the vast majority of Americans saw being invited to the White House as an honor regardless of who is living there, but liberals have destroyed this forever by politicizing any and all visits to Trump’s White House. It’s refreshing to see someone like Reid still describe being invited to the White House as the major honor that it is.

His attitude is in stark contrast to that of American soccer star Megan Rapinoe, who was caught on camera saying “I’m not going to the f***ing White House” if her team were to win the World Cup last year, which they ultimately did. Afterwards, Rapinoe stood by her comments and pressured her fellow teammates to refuse to visit Trump’s White House as well.,

We look forward to seeing Reid and his team have the experience of a lifetime at Trump’s White House, as getting to go there is a once in a lifetime opportunity that they will surely never forget.
