‘The Good Wife’ Actor Goes on Vulgar Rant Against Trump and Conservatives
Josh Charles made clear on Twitter he's no fan of the president or the people who voted for him
“The Good Wife” actor Josh Charles is the latest actor to have a meltdown on social media over President Donald Trump and conservatives.
“I’m so sick of this motherf*****. Just so sick. This needs to end. F*** him and every single person who continues to support him and his dangerous administration,” the “Sports Night” star wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
The actor also later tweeted, “Before we impeach the motherf***** can we at least put a muzzle on the motherf*****’s mouth. Pence too?”
It’s unclear what exactly inspired this vulgar rant, but the actor is regularly highly critical of the president through his social media venues.
He usually shares and retweets articles and sentiments critical of the president and the current administration.
His recent rant seemed to borrow a page from the book of Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.). Tlaib recently referred to Trump as a “motherf*****” at a MoveOn campaign event.
The congresswoman recalled an alleged recent conversation with her son while she spoke to the crowd.
“’Look, Mama, you won. Bullies don’t win,'” Tlaib recounted to the audience.
“And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t, because we’re gonna go in there and impeach the motherf*****.'”
Asked the next day about those comments, President Trump told reporters, “I think she dishonored herself and I think she dishonored her family.”
Charles is best known for his work on hit films such as “Dead Poets Society,” “Four Brothers” and “S.W.A.T.”
He has also worked on popular television shows like “The Good Wife” and “Wet Hot American Summer.”
