Barack Obama debuted on the R&B Billboard chart this week with “One Last Time (44 Remix),” a track inspired by the popular Broadway musical “Hamilton,” about Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

The song was part of a larger effort by “Hamilton” creator Lin Manuel Miranda to remix “Hamilton” songs.

These remixes were called “Hamildrops” and Obama’s was billed as the “final Hamildrop.”

It’s partly billed as a “44 Remix” in honor of Obama, who was the 44th president of the United States.

“One Last Time” features “Hamilton” original cast member Christopher Jackson and gospel singer BeBe Winans.

Obama performs a farewell address given by George Washington in the second act of the play.

The song sits at number 22 on the Billboard chart right now.

It also garnered some 307,000 streams and 9,000 downloads in its first week of release, according to Billboard.

Obama has had a relationship with “Hamilton” creator and star Lin Miranda Manuel for quite some time; he’s also an open fan of the Broadway musical.

Miranda and “One Last Time” singer Christopher Jackson — who played George Washington in the original play — visited the White House in January of 2017.

They performed the original version of “One Last Time.”

The former president said the show was “an incredible gift … It is rare that a piece of art can remind us about what’s best in ourselves.”

The “Hamilton” play made headlines during the 2016 presidential race when the cast put off their curtain call to directly address now-Vice President Mike Pence, who attended the show one night with his wife.

“Vice President-Elect Pence, I see you walking out but I hope you will hear us just a few more moments,” said actor Brandon Victor Dixon, who played Aaron Burr, from the stage.

“There’s nothing to boo here … We’re all sharing a story of love.”

“We welcome you, and we truly thank you for joining us here at ‘Hamilton: An American Musical’ — we really do,” Dixon continued. “We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. All of us.”

“Hamilton” found major success in mixing contemporary sounding music with America’s history. The play earned 16 Tony nominations in 2016. It ended up winning in 11 of those categories.
