Don Lemon of CNN is continuing to face backlash for declaring that white men are the “biggest terror threat” to this nation while speaking about the incoming migrant caravan on Monday.

“The last time they did this, a couple of hundred people came and they, you know, most of them didn’t get into the country,” Lemon (shown above right) declared. “So we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the Right, and we have to start doing something about them.”

A caravan consisting of thousands of migrants from Honduras has been approaching the southern U.S. border. These individuals are still weeks away but the caravan has sparked a massive political debate as the midterm election approach on November 6.

President Donald Trump is attempting to secure the border while critics say these people are just helpless and needy asylum seekers. Trump has deployed the military to support National Guard and Border P:atrol personal already there.

Fellow CNN host Chris Cuomo (above left) and Lemon were also discussing the recent shooting of two black men in Kentucky. Their conversation also veered into such concepts as white privilege, a social theory that some people receive more societal benefits based on race or ethnicity.

Lemon has since faced a wave of backlash for his highly controversial comments, with some even calling his words racist.

Fox News contributor Deroy Murdock sees the comments as just the latest example of racism coming from the Left, while Rep. Steve Scalise’s (R-La.) office responded by noting a crazed Bernie Sanders supporter tried to assassinate him on a baseball field not long ago.

Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra received thousands of replies, with many calling the comments racist, when he posted the video on Twitter the next day.

The comments almost slipped under the radar before they were posted.

Some commentators also called for Lemon to be taken off the air because of his remarks.

CNN has not had the best couple of years, with many casting doubt on its credibility. President Trump and many of his supporters have long called the network fake news.

The president has taken issue with what he sees as biased reporting in the media — but he’s had a particular focus on CNN.
