With only a little more than two weeks to go before Americans vote in the 2018 midterm elections with control of the Senate and House of Representatives at stake, President Donald Trump steps up the pace of his campaign Thursday evening with a Make America Great Again (MAGA) rally in Missoula, Montana.
Trump will campaign with MAGA rallies Friday in Mesa, Arizona, and Elko, Nevada, on Saturday. All three states have closely contested Senate races that could determine whether Republicans maintain majority control or lose it to Democrats determined to stop the president’s agenda.
The Montana race features Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) battling Republican State Auditor Matt Rosendale. The RealClearPolitics (RCP) rolling poll average has Tester up by 3 points, but that is within the margin of error, so the race is considered a toss-up.
Trump’s presence on Rosendale’s behalf could make the winning difference.
