Outrage Over Lego Depiction of Royal Couple Is Latest Sign the Left Has Lost It

The Left has one buzzword these days: outrage.

People on the Left seem to get outraged over just about anything.

Now, leftists are “outraged” over the skin tone of a Lego character.

The latest upset comes before the British royal wedding of Prince Harry and his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle, who is biracial. To commemorate the happy occasion, Legoland put together a special display of what the royal couple’s wedding will look like when the two are at the altar.

TMZ complained, however, that the Markle Lego is too fair-skinned. The outlet even went as far as to reach out to a representative from Legoland for comment about it.

Legoland told TMZ the figures in the display were not supposed to be “detailed representations” of the people involved; the colors of the toy bricks, the company said, are limited.

“They say she’s not dark enough — look, she has the same skin tone as Prince Harry here. The outrage — this is so ridiculous,” said Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo Friday night on “The Ingraham Angle.” “The Incredible Hulk was lime green in his Lego depiction, and in ‘The Avengers’ movie he was dark green.”

Speaking of cries of racism — “The Ingraham Angle” also tackled the Starbucks story: The chain has decided to change its bathroom policy after the company was accused of being racist last month.

In April, two black men were arrested in a Philadelphia Starbucks after they not only asked to use the bathroom without purchasing anything, but also refused to leave the shop. However, Starbucks executive chairman Howard Schultz recently said all of their stores will be opening their bathrooms to anyone and everyone — regardless of whether or not people have made a purchase.

“What could possibly go wrong?” host Laura Ingraham asked.

Although Starbucks made this move in an attempt to be inclusive, there are some definite problems here.

“When I was training for the marathon years ago, you’d see people wringing out their socks in the bathroom there,” Ingraham said. “I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be drinking something around people who are wringing out their dirty socks.”

“They have to go in there with hazmat suits to clean these bathrooms.”

Arroyo agreed — adding it could be more than just socks people would clean in public bathrooms.

“I’ve talked to Starbucks managers in recent days, and they say it’s a health nuisance,” Arroyo said. “They have to go in there with hazmat suits to clean these bathrooms. The people not only clean their articles [of clothing] with the sink, but they clean themselves — and you drive away the paying customers.”
