The voting age should be lowered to 16 in this country.

That’s Michael Moore’s latest zany idea.

The filmmaker was supposedly inspired after seeing the outpouring of support for the recent March for Our Lives protests and outspoken students like David Hogg attacking conservatives and gun owners on social media and through left-wing programs.

Genius.

So before you are ever able to join the military or even buy a pack of cigarettes — you should be heading to the voting booth.

The vast majority of 16-year-olds live with their parents and haven’t paid a bill in their entire lives.

Some have never held or worked a job.

Some don’t have licenses or cars to get to a voting booth.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

Like many leftists today, Moore sees opportunity and promise (read: more voters for the Dems) in the teenagers who are currently speaking out about gun control. He doesn’t want to see their thinking grow or be challenged. He merely sees pawns he can use to push his own ideology.

But if your ideology requires you to lower the legal voting age to 16 in order for it to spread — there may be a problem in your thinking.
