Dutch politician Geert Wilders, leader of the right-wing populist Party for Freedom (PVV), was convicted Friday of “hate speech” by a Dutch court. Allies say his only crime is standing up for the safety and security of the Dutch people and their country.

“Three PVV-hating judges declare Moroccans a race and convict me and half of the Netherlands. Insane,” he tweeted shortly following the verdict.

“I have a message for the judges who convicted me: You have restricted the freedom of speech of millions of Dutch and, hence, convicted everyone. No one trusts you anymore.”

In what could best be described as a show trial, Wilders was charged for a 2014 incident in The Hague during which Wilders asked a crowd of supporters whether or not they desired more Moroccans or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands. Wilders’ question elicited chants of “fewer, fewer, fewer,” to which he responded, “We’ll take care of it,” as TV cameras rolled.

“Dear friends, I still cannot believe it, but I have just been convicted because I asked a question about Moroccans,” Wilders said in an official video statement following his conviction.

“While the day before yesterday, scores of Moroccan asylum seekers terrorized buses in Emmen, and did not even have to pay a fine, a politician who asks a question about fewer Moroccans is sentenced,” Wilders said, noting the utter hypocrisy of the pro-globalization progressive powers-that-be.

The utter “charade” of a trial, as Wilders called it, reveals the extent to which the globalist Establishment is willing to go to silence those who dare protest their own peoples’ displacement through the unchecked mass migration of non-European peoples into Europe, and the threat those non-assimilated peoples pose to Western values and social cohesion.

But those in the Netherlands who value freedom and Western values should take heart. Clearly these ideologically motivated judges have learned nothing from Brexit, Donald Trump’s electoral victory, and the rise of other right-wing populists across Europe.

In attempting to silence Wilders, the globalists may very well have guaranteed his victory in the 2017 elections.

“The Netherlands have become a sick country,” said Wilders. “I have a message for the judges who convicted me: You have restricted the freedom of speech of millions of Dutch and, hence, convicted everyone. No one trusts you anymore.”
