The latest batch of emails from WikiLeaks has shown the grave concerns that Hillary Clinton’s own staffers had, and apparently still have, for her personal health and well-being — and the extent to which they have covered up for her.

One email from June 17, 2015, was written by press aide Jennifer Palmieri at 8:42 p.m. After a light day of campaigning in South Carolina, she wrote that Hillary was already asleep — and that it was fine to have someone else offer a response to a “slimy new Hillary attack” by Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida.

The series of emails bore the subject line: “Re: 2016 GOP HIT — HILLARY CLINTON.”

Palmieri wrote, “HRC does not want to do the response herself. What about a written statement from John? HRC is sleeping now but Huma and I think she would go for that.”

Another email released previously by WikiLeaks also showed campaign manager Robbie Mook, on March 14, 2015, calling Clinton’s health and taxes “hyper sensitive” issues. Mook wondered in an email to Podesta if addressing both issues wasn’t “better dealt with very early so we can control them — rather than responding to calls for transparency. What do you think?”

Huma Abedin also reminded Clinton, in a January 2013 email, to take a nap before a 3.30 p.m. meeting. That is according to an email released by the U.S. Department of State, as Breitbart reported.

The email had the subject line of “Reminder fabius at 3:30. Take a nap.”

The latest round of emails only raises additional red flags as to whether Hillary Clinton is physically fit to fulfill the rigorous expectations of the office of the presidency. But that isn’t a discussion that Clinton, her team, or her doctor seem willing to address clearly as we edge ever closer to the election.
