After a productive set of committee meetings this past week, the overall feeling on the ground in Cleveland is that the Republican Party has never been more united. The Platform, Rules, and Credentials Committees all came together nicely to unite behind Donald Trump as the presumptive nominee.

The unity really happened between the Trump team and the Republican National Committee on Thursday night, after the Rules Committee came to agreement on a number of contentious issues. This is a fantastic development, given the reliance of presidential campaigns on their party infrastructure to build out and deliver the message. Some of the NeverTrumpers griped about the tactics regarding the “conscience clause” vote on Thursday night, but the Trump delegates merely used their significant numerical advantage from primary victories to trounce the NeverTrump whiners.

Looking forward to the week ahead, it’s clear that the Trump team and RNC have a fantastic convention lined up, including a speech from Lifezette Editor-in-Chief Laura Ingraham. From television stars like Antonio Sabato Jr. to UFC President Dana White, Donald Trump’s vast appeal will be on full display in Cleveland.

Below is a list of what to expect in the week ahead at the RNC in CLE:

Ted Cruz and Scott Walker
Among the celebrities and famous speakers at this year’s convention, pay close attention to bellwethers Ted Cruz and Scott Walker. Governor Walker is close friends with Mike Pence — so anticipate a strong Trump/Pence endorsement.

Ted Cruz, on the other hand, is a wild card. His supporters, led by Ken Cucinelli and Mike Lee, have largely tried to disrupt the convention — thus far to no avail. It was an olive branch for Trump to extend Cruz an invitation to speak, and hopefully Cruz can rise to the occasion and unite the party against a Hillary ticket sure to continue our country’s decline.

Immigration and the Wall
After the Platform Committee cemented the wall into the immigration plank of the GOP platform, look for the Republican Party to unite around this key issue. Though not all Republicans view it as feasible, its symbolic importance regarding the rule of law should be highlighted by a number of speakers.

Terrorism and Homeland Security
Given the recent events across the world, including the terror attack in Nice and the coup in Turkey, there will be a heavy dose of military presence to bolster the Republican Party as the party of law and order throughout the world. Key speakers include Marucs Luttrell, Navy Seal and author of “Lone Survivor,” and Rudy Giuliani, mayor of New York during 9/11.

Protests
The Cleveland police have brought in more than 3,000 new police from around the country to help out with the convention. Also, open carry is being allowed fairly close to the convention center, so hopefully that will deter the violence to some extent. Numerous liberal publications have paid for protesters to fly into Cleveland, so look for things to get heated.

Liberal Media Themes
The liberal media will continue to trumpet the themes of party disunity and a message of anti-women. However, Ivanka Trump should highlight her business success and with other speakers like Eileen Collins, the first female astronaut shuttle commander, and Kathryn Gates-Skipper, the first female combat Marine, the convention should showcase Trump’s vast appeal to all women and put to rest the Left’s divisive game of gender politics.

Also, given that Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Christ Christie, and Scott Walker were all former competitors of Trump in the primary, look to their speeches to further solidify party unity. The very fact that they are speaking shows Trump’s devotion to party unity and his desire to garner a broad base of support.

New Faces
Senators Tom Cotton and Joni Ernst are both looking to give dynamic and poignant speeches as the Republican Party looks to the future. Both have impressive resumes, and both were considered heavily for the VP spot. Their speeches should be electric and a sign of good things to come for the GOP. Finally Mike Pence is not a new face on the GOP scene, but many consider him to be a steadying force for Mr. Trump and his speech should be a good chance to showcase that added aspect to the Trump ticket.
