Everyone likes a good end-of-summer party, so how can you spice it up and get creative in ways that are inexpensive?

My answer is a homemade watermelon keg. It’s a festive way to serve beverages to your guests as we cling to these last hot summer days. You can then fill the keg with whatever liquid you’d like.
Simply add water for a kid friendly version, or a clear alcohol for an adult version. That liquid will then absorb the watermelon flavor.
If you decide to blend in some of the watermelon into a drink, use a 1 :1 mix of watermelon and liquid.
You will need a spigot to make a proper keg, which can be purchased at home·brewing stores or on the Internet.
