This is the time of year when high school seniors start to hear about admissions decisions to college (if they’ve applied early) — and now one college is taking things up a notch.

The University of Wisconsin at Green Bay is now notifying students via Snapchat about their admissions decisions.

So — forget snail mail. Forget phone calls. Forget emails. Forget even Facebook or Twitter.

Students “are hearing back from the university faster than ever before,” reported local station 13 Action News.

“We’re really proud of our admitted students and we want them to know that,” said a spokesperson from the university.
