Caitlyn Jenner, the former Bruce Jenner, is a on a mission to educate the world about transgenderism — an “education” process that even means visiting the White House. It means a possible meeting with Vice President Mike Pence. It means going on Tucker Carlson’s show on Fox News this week and sharing as much about her new book as she can possibly manage.

It means talking to whomever she can about transgenderism — in other words, self-promotion.

Earlier this week, during an interview on SiriusXM, Jenner suggested to host Andy Cohen that a meeting with the vice president might be in the works. Then late Thursday came media reports that Jenner had wound up visiting the White House — though it’s unclear if she met with Pence there or not.

So far the White House isn’t discussing what meetings may or may not have transpired with her, or who may have been involved.

LifeZette reached out to the White House Press Office on the issue, but thus far has received no information.

“She was there for meetings and on her promo tour for her new book, released this week,” a Jenner spokesperson told ABC News about the visit.

While in Washington back in January for President Donald Trump’s inauguration, Jenner explained on Wednesday that she had cornered Pence and told him about having “had a private dinner with 16, 17 evangelical Christian conservative Republicans at a private dinner, at a private home, and we had a three-hour conversation on the issues — on faith, on my community. I said, ‘It was such a wonderful conversation. I would love to share that conversation with you,'” Jenner told Andy Cohen on Wednesday of this week during the SiriusXM interview. “He looks at me and said, ‘You know what? I would love to have that conversation.'”

Knowing Pence’s rule about private meetings alone with women — Jenner said he invited Mrs. Pence as well.

“I turn to his wife, who was standing right there. And I reach out and I grab her hand and I look her right in the eye and I said, ‘I would love to have you in on that conversation.’ And she looks at me and goes, ‘Don’t you worry, I’ll be there,'” Jenner recalled.

Jenner was in Washington only partly because of transgender issues and potential meetings with Pence. She’s making publicity rounds for her new book — and that naturally comes with all of the media trappings one would expect from a Jenner-Kardashian operation.

But a potential meeting with the vice president would not be universally popular for Jenner, as Pence is viewed by many on the Left as hostile to the LGBTQ cause.

Jay Brown, a spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest gay rights organization, told The New York Times that Pence is “one of the most anti-LGBT politicians out there.” Only a couple of days before the inauguration, LGBTQ activists swarmed Pence’s home and held a “gay glitter-bomb dance party” outside his house.

What Jenner hopes to accomplish with such a meeting remains a mystery. As of 12:30 p.m. Friday the White House had not released the reason for a Jenner visit.
