The Rolling Stones keep on touring, but even the legendary rockers know to take a knee now and then. Next year, some of the band’s most famous bric a brac will hit the road in its place.

“Exhibitionism” isn’t the latest Madonna gambit. It’s the best way to see some of the instruments, costumes, personal diaries, album cover artwork and more from the British rockers.

The tour kicks off in London’s Saatchi Gallery April 6, 2016 before moving on to 11 cities including Los Angeles and New York. The exhibit also includes unseen video clips, rare audio tracks and other Stones-related items sure to intrigue old fans and new alike.

The group’s original lineup played its first gig at the Marquee Club in London on July 12, 1962, marking the start of what would become rock royalty with few peers. The band’s current “Zip Code Tour” wrapped its 15-city run July 15 in Quebec.

A copy of “Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas” circa 1975 can cost as much as $999 on eBay

The Rolling Stones own two slots on the all-time top grossing concert list as of 2014, including the “Bigger Bang Tour” (2005-2007 … $558 million over 144 shows) and the “Voodoo Lounge Tour” (1994-1995 … $320 over 124 shows).

Fans don’t need to attend the new show to check out the band’s sought-after merchandise. But they may need to open their wallets and purses wide for the honor. A copy of “Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas” circa 1975 can cost as much as $999 on eBay. Want an original photograph of the group’s 1960s lineup signed by all five band mates? Prepare to pay that same $999 price. A 1964 tour program is for the serious collector only given its gaudy eBay price tag – $2,808 … or best offer.

It’s no wonder some fans will opt for the less expensive option – a ticket to “Exhibitionism.”
