Top Hillary Clinton adviser Jake Sullivan said that strengthening anti-bribery laws would be “dicey territory” for Hillary Clinton.

The comment was made in an email exchange between Sullivan and Clinton insider Neera Tanden, published by WikiLeaks Wednesday.

“She may be so tainted she’s really vulnerable.”

In response to a list of possible policy ideas Tanden sent to Sullivan, Sullivan told Tanden that five of her ideas “really have currency,” the second of which was her idea to “strengthen bribery laws to ensure that politicians don’t change legislation for political donations.”

“The second idea is a favorite of mine, as you know,” Sullivan wrote. “But REALLY dicey territory for HRC, right?” he continued.

The stunning admission from Sullivan may confirm what appear to be repeated instances of the Clinton Foundation accepting significant donations in return for government favors provided by Clinton in her capacity as secretary of state.

These include a $10 million donation from the Kuwaiti government to the Clinton Foundation which appeared to result in State Department clearance for a weapons sale to that country, and receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from Russian business interests for speeches shortly before the State Department greenlighted a controversial uranium deal.

Tanden acknowledged issues surrounding Clinton’s ethical shortcomings, but actually posited she might be able to spin it to her advantage. “She may be so tainted she’s really vulnerable — if so, maybe a message of I’ve seen how this sausage is made, it needs to stop,” Tanden suggested.

However, the numerous apparent instances of the Clinton machine engaging in quid pro quo with foreign donors imply that Clinton was not just a witness to such “sausage-making,” but eagerly grinding the meat and filling the casings herself.
