Donald Trump has a double-barreled weapon in his race for the presidency: his two sons.

Don Trump, Jr., who is 38 (pictured above left), and Eric Trump, 32 (at right, above), have become key spokesmen for their father, stumping for him in the early states and making frequent media appearances. Clearly, the one-two punch is working.

On Tuesday night before their father’s 22-point win in Nevada, Don Trump, Jr. appeared on the Fox News program “On The Record with Greta Van Susteren.” In the interview, he made a compelling argument for why his father’s message is resonating across the country.

“He’s saying what the hardworking, blue-collar, middle-class American family is thinking,” Don said. “He’s giving them a voice, he’s talking with them, he’s talking to them. He’s not talking at them like regular politicians are doing.”

Van Susteren asked about his father’s competitors in the race and whether they pose a threat, prompting Don to fire a shot at the Establishment — just like his dad.

“The one thing I know is that, not only is the Left going to go after him eventually, but the GOP and the Establishment — all of these guys are going to try to attack him,” he said. “Because they know when he gets this, when he wins, it’s all over for them.

“You know, the little cushy system they have going where everyone takes care of everyone else and everyone has their special interests doing all this stuff, and they have these great jobs at the expense of the American people. They know that this system is over.”

He added, “There’s very little limit to what I think the Establishment will do to prevent him from getting in here.”

The Trump family is new to the political world but the clan is learning quickly. Both sons, who serve as executive vice presidents in the Trump organization, have lauded their father’s strength as a businessman and dealmaker. But more importantly, their pride in being his sons is a testament to Trump’s character and appears to be resonating with voters across the country.

Ivanka Trump, 34, has spoken well for her father throughout his run, too, standing on stage with the family even as she’s due to give birth to her third child any day. Along with her two brothers, she manages the company’s real estate, retail, commercial and hotel interests both nationally and internationally.

“We are very green at politics. This isn’t what we do,” Eric Trump told LifeZette recently. “We’re good at building hotels, but we see this experience as positive and not a negative. This country has done so much for my dad and for our family, he just wants to give back — that’s why he’s in this race. This job was made for him.”

While Trump now faces significant attacks from both political parties in the days and weeks ahead, his family, it is clear, has been and will continue to be a bulwark of support.
