Donald Trump has selected Rep. Mike Pompeo for the position of CIA director. Pompeo has accepted the position, according to some reports.

The Kansas congressman is considered to be part of the Tea Party wing of the congressional Republican Party, having entered Congress in 2011 following the 2010 midterms that saw Republicans regain control of Congress.
