A young man who had Trump’s back during the election is now supporting him during his presidency.

Eleven-year-old Cole McCafferty first came out in support of Trump and made a video about it in August 2015. Now he has a message for Alec Baldwin in his newest video.

Young McCafferty is a Catholic school student in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He spoke to LifeZette about his commitment to praying for the Trump family during their first days in the White House.

“I would like President Trump to know that my family and I are praying for the president and his family’s safety,” said the 11-year-old.

About his decision to make videos, McCafferty said he really looks up to the president-elect.

“Donald Trump is a great businessman — he’s a billionaire — and he’s a great father. But besides this, the most important reason why I decided to make these videos is because of what I learned from him,” said McCafferty. “I’ve read his book ‘The Art of the Comeback.’ It’s one of my favorites. In that book, I learned that no matter what, you can never, ever give up. You have to keep on fighting every day. That’s the motto I’m going to live my life by, and that’s the model that Donald Trump lives his life by.”

“I know ‘Saturday Night Live’ is a comedy show, but Alec Baldwin’s impersonation is being very personal and mean-spirited,” he continued.

Brian McCafferty — Cole’s father — spoke of his pride in his son.

“A lot of people came out with hate messages toward my son, and I asked if he still wanted to do this. He said, ‘Yeah, I do,’ and I asked, ‘Are you sure?’ People can be a little rough and he is a kid,” said McCafferty.
