Teacher’s Pantry for Hungry High Schoolers

Katherine Gibson Howton, a high school teacher at a small Oregon school, has created a food pantry for students who need a bite to eat in order to perform their best at school. "We are your children's teachers," she wrote on Facebook. "We don't want them to be hungry…we care about them. Hungry feels scary."
