Clint Lorance is a former US Army Paratrooper who had to make a tough call on a stressful mission in Afghanistan. Surrounded by hostiles bent on killing him and his men, he made a command decision in the heat of battle. Later, armchair quarterbacks turned his decision into a political football and Lorance was sentenced to prison. After six years at Fort Leavenworth, Lorance was pardoned by Donald Trump.
