McCain Bill Dodges Border Wall

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) introduced a new immigration plan that gives permanent legal status to over 1.8 million so-called dreamers — but will reportedly provide no immediate funding for the border wall. The bill is an attempt to reach a budget deal and avert another government shutdown as a Thursday deadline approaches.
