Tax Bill Approved Despite Rosie

The Senate voted to pass the Republicans’ sweeping tax reform bill by a final vote of 51 to 48. The House also voted in favor of the bill on Tuesday, but scheduled a revote since multiple provisions violated chamber rules — and all this happened despite obstructionist efforts by liberal actress Rosie O’Donnell.
