Clinton’s Trade Report Card

Back in 2000, President Bill Clinton called on Congress to grant Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China— allowing them to join the World Trade Organization. This bad deal resulted in the beginning of the United States' massive trade deficit with China, which reached $367 billion by 2015.
