Last night the Academy Awards saw its biggest snafu in history: The wrong film was announced to have won “Best Picture.”

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway seemed confused when announcing the winner to be “La La Land,” and after the cast and crew of that film appeared on stage to say their thank you’s, it was announced that the real winner was “Moonlight.”

The error was a result of the presenters being handed the wrong envelope — they were given the ballot that said Emma Stone had won “Best Actress” for her role in “La La Land,” rather than the proper envelope for “Best Picture.”

Watch the confusion above.
