ABC News’ “The View” co-host Joy Behar apologized Monday for being “guilty of premature evaluation” when she giddily celebrated the since-discredited ABC News report about former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s Friday plea deal.

The anti-Trump Behar read on air an exclusive report from ABC’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross.

The report has since been discredited, and the network suspended Ross for four weeks without pay while apologizing for the “serious error.”

Behar’s co-host, conservative Meghan McCain, said Monday that she doesn’t “want to sit on a show where I feel like we’re giving fake news or reacting irresponsibly.”
