Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) referred to illegal immigrants as “Americans” while speaking to Jake Tapper on CNN Wednesday.
Booker was arguing that a measly piece of paper is the only thing that stands between these illegals and citizenship — and asserts that they’re American in every way.
