Erich Nikischer has worked for the Buffalo Bills for almost 30 years — but all of that changed Sunday after the NFL team chose to protest the national anthem.

Nikischer, who was a security guard at New Era Field, handed in his resignation right after “The Star-Spangled Banner” played while dozens of athletes kneeled.

“After almost 30 years of working for the Buffalo Bills thru the good seasons and a lot of bad ones, I was finally pushed to my limit today and had to quit. I can not [sic] work in a place where multi millionaires cry that they are oppressed.” he wrote in an emotional Facebook post.

The former employee, who also works in law enforcement, appeared on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday to give more insight into his decision to walk out on his beloved football team. Watch the interview above.
