The Women’s March organizers returned to Washington, D.C. this weekend to stage another seemingly meaningless protest, this time against the NRA.

The march was in response to an NRA video which called for an end to the violent protests since President Trump’s inauguration. The organizers of the Women’s March claim that the video called for violence against minorities or anyone who opposes President Trump’s policies — something the NRA has certainly not condoned.

The organizers took it a step further when they were caught on tape comparing their plight to the infamous Selma, Alabama march in 1965, which was organized by non-violent African American activists who were fighting for their own basic civil rights.
