A terrifying — and inspiring — video of an American saving a young Iraqi girl from ISIS gunfire is going viral.

The footage, shot in Mosul, shows a former U.S. Special Forces operative named David Eubank running into the line of fire to grab the young girl and bring her to safety. He has backup in the form of two companions who are shooting back at the ISIS gunmen while the aid worker saves the girl.

Eubank works with the Free Burma Rangers, according to the Los Angeles Times. The volunteer organization works in conjunction with Iraqi forces to help civilians under attack by ISIS.

Watch the incredible video above. A warning: The video may be disturbing to some viewers.
