Texas Representative Sheila Jackson Lee took to the House floor on Monday to blame all racial hate crimes in 2017 on one person: President Donald Trump.

During her speech, the lawmaker cited several examples of hate crimes that have happened since President Trump was elected.

“We have a noose found hanging near an elementary school in Washington, D.C., this is the picture of that,” said Rep. Lee. “This has all happened since the election of President Trump. We have an incident, June 9, 2017, ‘The Washington Post,’ it says, ‘Shut up, slave,’ a spilled Starbucks drink led to a racist tirade and sidewalk fight.’ I don’t know if people are under extreme tension, but this is all happening in 2017.”

While many of the crimes Rep. Lee listed are are inexcusable, many conservatives are crying foul that it can be one man’s fault that they occured. Watch the clip above to see her justification.
