Ohio Governor John Kasich was a co-host on Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” and did not exactly come off as “Mr. Cool” while interviewing rapper 2 Chainz.
2 Chainz was asked about how he gives back to his community, and went into lengthy description about his success and efforts to use his fame to inspire other young men and women to escape their unfortunate circumstances.
This is when Kasich used the opportunity to “talk about music,” asking the rapper about his collaborations with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
The audience and co-hosts were visibly amused and uncomfortable as Kasich tried to claim he listens to rap music, saying he and his daughters “used to really love listening to Kanye.”
