MSNBC’s Ali Velshi interviewed Texas Congressman Al Green Monday about the death threats and racist remarks the lawmakers has received since calling for President Trump’s impeachment.
Green expressed gratitude toward his colleagues on both sides of the aisle for speaking out against the hateful rhetoric he has faced — but not before Velshi said “maybe we shouldn’t be surprised” that Trump supporters called for Green’s lynching and murder.
