“Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski opened Wednesday’s show with the biggest story of the day — President Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey.
The hosts were almost in a state of mourning, with Scarborough saying “it is one of those days I think we all will remember for a very long time. You cannot overstate, first of all, the seriousness of what he has done, the challenge it poses to our constitutional system, and the challenge it poses now for the Republican party.”
They continued to bash the president for his decision, forgetting the fact that many Democrats themselves wanted Comey fired until recently.
