South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham appeared on “Morning Joe” to discuss President Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey — and the hosts of the show, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, laughed in his face for his defense of the president.
Earlier in the segment, Graham said he had no problem with the swiftness of the Trump firing — so the hosts challenged him on why it took so long for the present to fire Michael Flynn.
Graham argued that he personally feels the president should have fired Flynn more quickly, and this is when the hosts began to laugh at him. The senator took it in stride and chuckled with them, before Brzezinski at the end of his statement laughed, “good answer.”
