Kentucky Senator Rand Paul took a dig at Bernie Sanders yesterday after it was revealed he historically paid a much lower percentage of taxes than Donald Trump.
Donald Trump paid 25.3% in taxes on his income in 2005, while Senator Sanders only paid 13.5% in 2014.
“Since Senator Sanders is such a good Socialist, I think he’d want to pay his fair share,” Paul jested. “I’m expecting news any day that he’s going to send a couple hundred thousand to the IRS so he can pay his fair share.”
