During her acceptance speech for “Best Supporting Actress” at this year’s Oscars, Viola Davis made a presumptuous statement about the acting profession.
“I became an artist and thank God I did because we are the only profession that celebrates what it means to live a life.”
Davis must have forgotten about all of the other professions that celebrate life — like doctors, law enforcement professionals and pastors, to name a few. Watch the clip above.
