Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel took to his late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to discuss the now-infamous mix-up that occurred at this year’s Academy Awards. “La La Land” was incorrectly announced to have won Best Picture, when the real winners were the cast and crew of “Moonlight.”
Kimmel told his version of events, and viewers were surprised to hear he did not take the error all that seriously. “I’m standing there like an idiot feeling bad for these guys, but also trying really hard not to laugh,” said the comedian.
