Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore, despite being very outspoken about his disdain for President-Elect Donald Trump, says in a recent interview with “Variety” magazine that Americans must take Trump’s campaign promises “literally and seriously.”
Moore, who is calling for a disruption of the president-elect’s inauguration this Friday, says he “absolutely” believes Trump will implement a ban on Muslims entering the United States and that he will also “deliver at least a version of the wall.”
“What you’re going to see is, on day one, he’s going to rescind a dozen or more of Obama’s executive-branch regulations. On day two, Republicans will start printing laws the way you print fliers for a homecoming dance,” says the filmmaker.
While we’re fairly certain Moore didn’t mean for his comments to praise Trump, we know millions of Americans who are looking forward to Trump’s Day One promises after eight years of failed policy.
