Omar Mateen, the man who committed the deadliest shooting in United States history this weekend, had apparently been exhibiting “unhinged and unstable” behavior for years, according to a former colleague.

Daniel Gilroy, a co-worker of Mateen’s at G4S Security at the south gate at PGA Village from 2014-2015, made frequent complaints about the eventual shooter but was turned down by his bosses “because [Mateen] was Muslim.”

Gilroy “complained that Mateen ‘frequently made homophobic and racial comments’ and that his behavior was ‘unhinged and unstable,’ but bosses ignored him,” reports infowars.com.

Eventually, Gilroy says he quit because “everything [Mateen] said was toxic and the company wouldn’t do anything … He talked of killing people.”

Mateen reportedly stalked Gilroy after he left the company, going as far as to send him multiple text messages every day.

This is not the first time political correctness has stopped concerned citizens from reporting dangerous activity: The San Bernardino terrorists’ neighbors did not voice concerns about the couple in fear that they, too, would be labeled racist.
