Former Breitbart editor Ben Shapiro went on Fox News’ “The Kelly File” on Tuesday night to discuss the charges of battery brought on Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
“Lying liars lie, and this is the Trump campaign, where lies are told and then lies are told to cover up the lies,” said Shapiro. “Corey Lewandowski grabbed Michelle, he yanked Michelle, he bruised Michelle, that was obvious from the tape.”
The charges resulted from an incident on March 8 where former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields alleged that she was “yanked” on the arm by Trump’s campaign manager — an allegation that the Trump campaign denied.
The Jupiter Police Department in Florida released a tape once the charges were filed against Lewandowski, showing that he did in fact come into contact with Fields.
F“Their story has evolved from Corey Lewandowski never touched Michelle Fields to well she sorta had it coming because she clearly was in a position to hurt Donald Trump,” Shapiro added.
