President Donald Trump’s recent positive interactions with rapper Kanye West have inspired the idea of potential sit-downs with the singer — and Cleveland pastor Darrell Scott will be pitching this idea at the White House on Thursday, Politico is reporting.

“It’s going to be unscripted, unfiltered, blunt,” Scott told Politico. “No topic is off the table.”

Scott is apparently organizing the summits with Andrew Giuliani, a top aide in the White House Office of Public Liaison. Scott has also been working with White House adviser Jared Kushner on prison reform and plans to revitalize struggling urban neighborhoods.

Scott said West would be invited to the potential summit — and said he also wants to set up other summits on race this summer between the president and various professional athletes.

Scott said athletes of all political beliefs would be invited to the summits.

“A lot of people have spunk and courage on Twitter,” he said. “I wonder how many will actually show up.”

It seems likely that Kanye West would attend a meeting with the president based on race, judging at least by some of his recent remarks. He met with the president last year at Trump Tower in Manhattan and has been outspoken recently on Twitter and in interviews about his support for the president and his eagerness to work with the chief executive.
