Most of Hollywood was firmly in Hillary Clinton’s corner during her presidential run. The final weeks of her campaign solidified that support when celebrities such as Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Katy Perry headlined concerts and rallies.

But the star power didn’t help much in swing states — and now celebrities are coming to grips with Donald Trump as their next president.

While some are downright excited for the grassroots campaign run by Trump — others are in the process of grim acceptance.

Chelsea Handler, one of the many who vowed to hightail it out of America if Trump won, backed off her earlier statements by saying she is now going to remain within the United States.

In a video posted to her Instagram account, she said, “I was going to leave the country yesterday. That was my intention, to go into work and to say, ‘I can’t stay’ and everyone that I worked with said, ‘You cannot, we need you, we need your voice and we need you to stay and we need you to fight for all those people that don’t have a voice,’ and they’re right, so I’m not leaving the country. This is my announcement: I’m going to keep fighting.”

In an episode of her Netflix series, “Chelsea,” she made the same promise through tears to her audience after vowing to move to Spain should Trump win the presidency.

Miley Cyrus also claimed she’d leave the United States if Trump won. She broke down and positively lost it when her beloved Hillary didn’t win. But in another video posted online, she tearfully said, “Donald Trump, I accept you. This hurts to say, but I even accept you as president of the United States, and that’s fine, because, now, I want to be a hopeful hippie. I want to be hopeful that you will step in, too … treat people with love, treat people with compassion, and I will do the same for you.”

Other celebrities who seem to have rolled back their promises to ditch America include Whoopi Goldberg and Amy Schumer. Even “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston, who also threatened to leave, seemed to offer some optimism for a President Trump. “Although shocked and disappointed by the outcome, I hope the pres[ident]-elect will work to unify our wounded country. I sincerely wish him success.”

The reactions are glowing compared to others, like that of Academy Award-winner Robert De Niro, who said at one point that he wanted to “punch” Trump. De Niro compared Trump’s victory to 9/11. “I feel like I did after 9/11,” the “Goodfellas” actor told The Hollywood Reporter.

Others who have safely been in Trump’s corner displayed an excitement not seen from most of their Hollywood counterparts. “God bless America !! & our 45th President of the USA & the new first family,” tweeted Stephen Baldwin, whose brother, Alec Baldwin, satirized Trump on “Saturday Night Live” through much of the campaign.

“Charles in Charge” star Scott Baio tweeted similar words after it was clear who the next president would be: “Great faith in God works. Mr @realDonaldTrump I’m proud to call you President of the United States of America. And First Lady @MELANIATRUMP.”

Academy Award-winner Jon Voight, who has been a vocal supporter of Trump and even starred in a campaign ad, told The Hollywood Reporter, “I was deeply pleased by the election.” The actor had a message for protesters dissatisfied by the election’s results: “To those people who are heartsick, I felt the same way when Mitt Romney lost. Just calm down, let not your heart be troubled. This man is going to be a wonderful president.”

He continued by making a prediction not many in Hollywood would echo about a Trump presidency: “We’re going to see results very quickly. People need jobs in this country and that’s one thing he’s gonna address immediately, taking some of the pressure off small businesses and middle class, and let the economy flourish a little bit. We need it desperately.”
