While we eagerly await the filling of key cabinet positions in the upcoming Donald Trump administration, there are a few other positions we also need to know who will fill before the inauguration on Jan. 20 — that of the entertainment.

The Washington, D.C., event is where we will see Donald Trump go from president-elect to president. The night of unity and celebration is always populated with major stars and donors, and while musical acts have been rumored for Trump’s inauguration, none have been confirmed just yet.

Elton John has denied he’s performing after the potential of that hit headlines. And Motley Crue’s Vince Neil also confirmed he will not be performing after starting the rumor himself that he was.

While big-name musical acts are great and fit perfectly with the high-class event, there are a handful of very talented musicians that probably deserve to be onstage and singing at this upcoming inauguration more than anybody else. After all, there are artists out there that have supported Trump throughout the election and would likely take full advantage of an invite to hold the stage in celebration of a presidency they helped fight for.

Actor Robert Davi (“The Goonies,” “Die Hard,” and shown in the images above) has been a longtime supporter of Donald Trump. Early on in the election, he used his column with Breitbart News to announce his support of the real estate mogul. He was publicly active thereafter in his backing.

What some don’t know about Davi is his passion for singing and performing. Davi has released multiple albums showing off his old-school crooning skills. His most popular is “Davi Sings Sinatra: On the Road to Romance,” where he covers classic tunes like “I’ve Got the World on a String” and “The Best Is Yet to Come.” Since the album, Davi has been a Vegas headliner and toured, keeping the soul of crooning alive. He’d be a classy pick for inauguration night. Sinatra tunes like “My Way” and “New York, New York” would be fitting for a President Trump.

Other Trump supporters in the music industry include big names in country music, Kid Rock and Trace Adkins. The latter was a contestant on Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” and both would be good tributes to the Trump voter base, as the two have music popular throughout the American Midwest — where Trump did supremely well with voters feeling left behind by pundits and Washington elites.

Trump will cement his win after a hard-fought, grassroots campaign that surprised pundits and onlookers all the way through election night.

Meat Loaf was another musician to positively speak of Trump during the election (he was also another “Apprentice” contestant) and would fit the bill for a classic rocker that the likes of Neil or John would have filled.

A more surprising pick would be the conservative rock band Madison Rising. The band has become more and more popular over the last few years, gaining a strong military following and a name with prominent conservatives. They performed the theme song for Sarah Palin’s reality series, “Amazing America,” and had music included in Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary, “America.” Their rock ‘n’ roll cover of “The Star Spangled Banner” went viral and has earned over 7 million views on Youtube. They’d certainly be a fitting, counterculture pick for the impending Republican president.

And of course, if the night was really about rocking out, then who better than Trump supporter and very outspoken gun-rights activist Ted Nugent? Always ready to make a headline and with classics like “Cat Scratch Fever” in his arsenal, he’d certainly be a lively pick.

Besides potential musical acts, there are typically a lot of recognizable faces at presidential inaugurations, and Trump has plenty of celebrity support to pull from. There’s Academy Award winner Jon Voight, who made an ad supporting Trump’s candidacy, and vocal supporters like actor Stephen Baldwin and even “Sully” director Clint Eastwood.

Whoever is chosen to attend and perform, it will certainly be an unforgettable night as Trump cements his win after a hard-fought, grassroots campaign that surprised pundits and onlookers all the way through election night.

By contrast, the musical acts who performed at President Obama’s inaugurations have included Aretha Franklin, James Taylor, Kelly Clarkson, and Beyoncé. We all know how much Beyoncé and husband Jay Z helped Hillary Clinton in the election this year.
