Despite vicious rumors that Donald Trump’s transition team was having trouble securing top-tier musical talent for next week’s inauguration ceremonies, the stars are lining up to help with the peaceful transition of power.

Performing at the pre-inauguration concert in Washington, D.C., the night before the inauguration will be country music star Toby Keith and rock band 3 Doors Down. The concert will be called, “Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration,” as the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Friday. Other performers will include Lee Greenwood, Jennifer Holliday, the Piano Guys, and the Frontmen of Country.

“This is a time to overcome challenges in our country and band together.”

Previously announced performers include Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy.

Academy Award-winning actor and outspoken Trump supporter Jon Voight will also be in attendance. Donald Trump is expected to speak at the event.

“The 58th Inaugural will celebrate American history and heritage, while setting the course to a brighter and bolder future for all Americans. Above all, it will serve as tribute to one of our greatest attributes, the peaceful transition of partisan power,” said Tom Barrack, chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, in a statement.

Country music legend Lee Greenwood, most famous for his song “God Bless the U.S.A.,” said in a statement, “This is a time to overcome challenges in our country and band together.” Greenwood previously performed at inauguration ceremonies for Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush.

He said he was “honored to be part of history again.”

Previously announced performers for Inauguration Day are Jackie Evancho, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and the Radio City Rockettes.

With performers as successful and well known as Toby Keith, 3 Doors Down, Big & Rich, and Lee Greenwood helping to celebrate America’s transition of power, it’s clearer now than ever before that mainstream media reports about Trump’s transition team struggling to find artists willing to participate in inauguration ceremonies were overhyped.

With many celebrities supporting divisiveness — Rosie O’Donnell talking about martial law, Charlie Sheen talking about impeaching Trump, numerous others planning to attend protests — it’s uplifting to see artists willing to put politics aside and participate in a vital time for the country. They not only deserve praise for their talents, but for their willingness to help the rest of the country look to the future with hope.
