Whether you’re 50 or 15, you’ve seen the commercials and contemplated the significance of the impending cultural event that is “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Regardless of whether you’re a fan yourself, chances are someone in your family or network of friends has included “Star Wars” gear on their Christmas list.

For gamers, the chances are even higher. Video games are great gifts for Star Wars fans. Once again, geek is chic.

Action figures aren’t necessarily appealing to everyone, and the box-set of movies is probably redundant for most die-hard fans. Selecting a themed video game may be the perfect solution for “Star Wars” fans of any age, male and female alike. So here are some big-time buying tips.

For Younger Fans
Disney Infinity 3.0: The “Toys to Life” video game genre is new, but Disney has made their presence known over the past few years with its Disney Infinity series. This year’s installment focuses on the “Star Wars” universe and its characters, but still allows the figures from previous game to be used. While the game is clearly marketed to younger fans, the more “mature” audience will enjoy it as well.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Accessories: For those who own the game (or soon will), Power A has a few accessories that will help keep your gaming space free of clutter. The Power Disc Case and The Hall of Heroes Case will ensure the small, easily lost Power Discs and figures are neatly stored and easily accessible or ready for travel.

The Force Light Side Tablet: When it comes to tablets, age is no barrier thanks to a company called nabi. Designed specifically for children, this Star Wars-branded version includes 16 GB storage, Wi-Fi, a 7-inch screen, and rubber bumpers to guard from the inevitable impact of a drop. It’s designed to look like R2-D2, everybody’s favorite droid, and includes themed wallpapers and sounds directly from the franchise.

For Mature Fans
Star Wars Battlefront II: If you’re interested in a more mature take on the “Star Wars” video game, Battlefront II is for you. It’s multiplayer only, but for a reason. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to live during the rebellion, this is as close as you’ll get. You’ll wage war across worlds you recognize and, if you’re lucky, will even get to play as some of your favorite characters: Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett. It tends toward greater violence (hence the “adult” recommendation), but sticks to the Star Wars tenets, meaning you won’t see blood and gore.

For Everyone
Power A Star Wars Controllers: Every gamer has their favorite character and Power A seems to pick up on this dynamic. For the release of the new movie, fans can purchase specialized controllers designed with any given character they in mind. Represent Darth Vader, R2-D2, Stormtroopers, or others while you play your favorite games (Star Wars or not). They’re not wireless, but that helps keep the cost very reasonable.

Headsets
Over the past few years, gaming headsets have seen a surge in popularity thanks to the multitude of benefits they provide. For instance, if you share a living space with someone, they don’t have to hear your adventures if they choose not to. There’s also a competitive advantage for online games, and that has helped Turtle Beach become a household name for gaming headsets.

X-Wing Pilot Gaming Headset: This wired headset with 40 mm speakers is a relatively inexpensive option retailing at $49.95, clearly designed with cost-effectiveness in mind. It sits over the ears as you play, which adds comfort and reasonable audio quality for the price. The headset style mimics the look of an actual X-Wing pilot, and the color scheme (orange and white) is sure to keep you in the spirit of the rebellion.

Battlefront Sandtrooper Gaming Headset: It’s double the cost of the X-Wing headset, but frankly, it’s double the quality. They’re limited edition and individually numbered, so don’t be surprised if fanatical collectors show interest, but they’re meant to be enjoyed. The design is customizable thanks to the removable and replaceable speaker plates, and you might find yourself having a hard time choosing one: They all scream “Star Wars” louder than the audiences sitting in the front row on opening night. The audio is crisp and clean, thanks to large 50 mm speakers. This is by far the most comfortable headset offered, and worth the splurge if you’re planning on making it a habit, not just a hobby.
