While most people were spending their Christmas honoring the birth of Jesus and enjoying the company of family and friends, controversial comedian Rosie O’Donnell spent the holiday doing what she always does: using social media to insult and harass anyone and everyone who dares to disagree with her increasingly extremist views.
In response to a video posted by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) on Saturday that touched on the birth of Jesus, O’Donnell chimed on Twitter, “Paul Ryan — don’t talk about Jesus after what u just did to our nation — u will go straight to hell u screwed up fake altar boy #JUDASmuch.”
The #JUDASmuch hashtag refers to the disciple who betrayed Jesus. A representative for Ryan responded to O’Donnell’s message, as Fox News reported, by saying, “We wish everyone a Merry Christmas!”

The Christmas message has not been O’Donnell’s only recent moment of extremism on social media. Before the tax reform bill passed the Senate last week, O’Donnell attempted to bribe multiple lawmakers in an attempt to stop it.
She offered $2 million to both Sen. Jeff Flake and Sen. Susan Collins in exchange for “no” votes.
Both senators voted for the bill.
O’Donnell also had a spat recently with conservative commentator Ben Shapiro on Twitter — and the social media platform actually had to step in and delete her vulgar tweet.
Shapiro originally tweeted about O’Donnell by sharing pieces from The Daily Wire, where he is editor-in-chief, that touched on the comedian’s bribery tweets. Shapiro also tweeted, “If Trump orders Sessions to investigate Rosie, he will be carved into Rushmore by Friday.”
O’Donnell responded by saying, in true ladylike fashion, “Suck my d*** Ben.”
He responded with, “You’re already a felon, Rosie. Don’t be a homophobic sexual harasser too.”
Shapiro reported the tweet to Twitter to “mainly to see if Twitter does indeed have a double standard.”
“Everyone knows if Rosie were conservative, Twitter would suspend her in a hot second. So, Twitter, put your money where your mouth is,” he tweeted with the trending #MeToo hashtag.
The social media platform originally said the harassing tweet did not violate its standards, but Twitter quickly reversed its decision and deleted O’Donnell’s tweet after Shapiro shared the decision with his followers.

O’Donnell hasn’t exactly been a level-headed critic of the president and the GOP. She suggested martial law as a way to stop Donald Trump from taking office — and even cyberbullied the president’s youngest child.
In recent weeks, however, her actions appear more unhinged than ever. She’s moved from Trump hysteria to some new form of delirium, in which every single person who dares to challenge or disagree with her on-the-fringe opinions is suddenly an evildoer in need of vulgar harassment.
The wild panic expressed on O’Donnell’s Twitter account about anything President Trump happens to do and anything a conservative says is unfortunately prevalent among many liberals today. These folks are unable to see straight, thanks to their red-hot anger over the man who won the election and today sits in the Oval Office.
If the Left ever wants to be taken seriously again, it needs to separate itself from vocal celebrities like O’Donnell, who exist in echo-chamber bubbles they’ll have a very hard time getting out of — at least in the near future.
