Many restaurants pride themselves on serving the well-to-do — so much so that some have famously decorated their walls with portraits and photos of the glitterati who have deigned to dine with them.

Now businesses are rethinking — and redecorating — in the wake of the multiple sexual misconduct scandals involving well-known names previously respected in their various fields.

The legendary Palm steakhouse in New York City, for example, already has removed its caricature of former “Today” show host Matt Lauer — who left the show in disgrace in November due to numerous accusations of sexual misconduct against him.

The restaurant removed the picture about a month ago, Page Six noted. Still hanging are portraits of “Today” show co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford.

The steakhouse also reportedly removed the image of disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein from its wall, along with that of comedian Bill Cosby. Both men have faced serious accusations, including rape. Cosby is gearing up for a second trial soon (his first ended with a deadlocked jury).

Another restaurant, the legendary Sardi’s, is waiting for progress on various sexual misconduct accusations against actors such as Geoffrey Rush and Dustin Hoffman before taking steps to remove any photos lining their walls.

“Until there is some resolution one way or another, we feel it would be inappropriate to remove the portraits,” a source told Page Six.

Other restaurants are not so concerned with removing photos. The iconic Katz’s Delicatessen said it would not be removing pictures from its walls — because policing the wall could become a full-time job given the many sexual misconduct allegations that have emerged and continue to emerge.
